So we teamed up.

Why This Means So Much to Us

Philip has been self-employed since a young age — it’s in his blood. Most of his sisters and aunties have run their own businesses too. That entrepreneurial spirit runs deep in the family.

In one photo, you’ll see 26-year-old Philip proudly opening his own local bakery.

In another, he’s standing beside his mum running their family café — the world-renowned Potting Shed Tearoom in Scotland.

For over a decade, Philip ran cafés, managed busy bars, and supported his family’s businesses —

doing everything from customer service to baking, late-night cleanups to early morning prep.

He knows the reality of small business life. Not from theory — from living it.

And after years of working in hospitality and retail, he saw one thing over and over again:

That’s what sparked the shift.
